a long but happy day

Today was fun!

Tallis had summer school, Carlie had summer homeschool and Jed helped get the swimming pool almost opened up. We just need a few bottles of the Bacquacil pool stuff and we’ll be back in the pool “business”. After we picked up Tallis from summer school, we met his girlfriend and her mom over at the movie theatre and we all saw the new Indiana Jones movie.

It was awesome! A great summer family film. It had every Indy requirement: jungles, witty quips in the face of danger, multiple car chases through the jungle, bugs and snakes. And a happy ending.

Then we went for ice cream and hung out for a while. After that, it was errands, then home for homework and dinner.

All in all, a quiet day but one that was productive from the family togetherness point of view.
